Printmaking with artist Robert Ives

Clifton School of Arts is pleased to offer a Printmaking workshop with artist Robert Ives.

This workshop takes place on Saturday 23 May 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and invites participants to explore relief printmaking techniques in a supportive and creative environment. During this extended day session, participants will spend time learning and practising some of the most commonly used relief printing methods while also being introduced to additional techniques using larger MDF blocks.

Participants will work with water-based inks, and all printing will be done by hand, allowing for a tactile and rewarding printmaking experience. By the end of the workshop, you will take home a number of prints, many of which may be worthy of framing.

One of the most successful classes in 2025 saw participants including absolute beginners,produce work they were proud to frame.

Some prior experience may be helpful, but it is not necessary.

All materials are provided and included in the cost.
