Lead Me On is an exploration of the things we notice in our world, whether it’s a vista on a road trip, a walk along a beach, or the way mist settles through the bush. For both artists, light plays a powerful role in how they interpret their subjects. Shadows dance on the face of a wave or the bark of a eucalypt, pointing to the sunlight that brings life to the world and their art.

Nicole Southworth’s confident and masterful application of colour brings her works to life, immersing viewers in the branches and details of the forest floor. Andrew McPhail invites you into space and light, capturing the ocean’s many moods, along with rivers, creeks, and beach tracks.

Both artists extend an invitation to walk a path, stop and breathe, appreciate, and dream. Lead Me On offers beautiful oil and acrylic works that will bring lasting enjoyment for collectors and art lovers alike.
