Helena Fox is a writer and creative writing mentor living by the sea in Wollongong, Australia.
Helena’s debut novel, How It Feels To Float, recently won the Victorian Premiers Literary Award for Writing for Young Adults. She is published by Dial/Penguin Random House in North America, Pan Macmillan in Australia and New Zealand, and Best of YA in the Netherlands.
Helena has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College in the US. She mentors young writers and runs workshops on creative writing and writing to help mental health. Helena has travelled widely, living in Peru, Spain, the U.K, Samoa, and the US. Of all her adventures, she is proudest of her work helping young people find and express their voice.
